On Fox News’ “The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson” the host showed that economics was not a factor in someone’s likelihood to commit acts of terror.
“A 2004 study by a Harvard economist seems to contradict that claim finding that the terror risk is not significantly hire for poorer countries,” Carlson said. “And then a 2012 study in Pakistan reached a similar conclusion saying ‘Pakistan’s urban poor are more exposed to the negative externalities of militant violence and may in fact be less supportive of the groups.’”
