‘Shut it and clean up your own house’: Mexico’s gripes about amnesty ruling draw social media scorn

Guess who isn’t happy with a federal judge striking down Obama’s amnesty plan.

The Mexican Foreign Ministry on Wednesday lashed out at the decision saying that it “regrets” Judge Andrew Hanen’s decision, according to the Washington Times.

“These programs are a just remedy for millions of families and have the potential to strengthen the important contributions that Mexican immigrants make to the American economy and society,” it said in a written statement.

If they are making such a positive impact in the American economy why isn’t the Mexican Foreign Ministry clamoring to get them back to Mexico?

Better yet, as one Twitter user put it, just “shut it and clean up your own house.”

Americans in the Twitterverse had no use for the Mexican gripes.
