Democratic National Committee chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz took to Facebook and Twitter with a video to announce they Democratic convention will be held in the city of brotherly love in 2016.
In true Wasserman Schultz fashion the video was ridiculously rife with clichés.
Wasserman Schultz walks up to a refrigerator and opens it to find a cheesesteak. Then she closes the refrigerator and slaps a Philadelphia magnet on it.
“There’s nothing like a good, ice-cold cheesesteak straight from the fridge,” said no Philadelphia resident ever.
Music that sounds like a child’s band struggling to play “Eye of The Tiger” begins to play.
The only thing that would have been good in this video would have been if Wasserman Schultz attempt to run the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s steps.
Naturally many people on social media ridiculed the absurd video.
