Brit Hume blasts ‘amazing impropriety’ of Ruth Bader Ginsburg; she belongs on ‘The View’ not SCOTUS

In an interview published this week in Bloomberg Business, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg commented on the change in people’s attitudes about same-sex marriage.

“The change in people’s attitudes on that issue has been enormous,” Ginsburg said. “In recent years, people have said, ‘This is the way I am.’ And others looked around, and we discovered it’s our next-door neighbor — we’re very fond of them. Or it’s our child’s best friend, or even our child. I think that as more and more people came out and said that ‘this is who I am,’ the rest of us recognized that they are one of us.”

Ginsburg’s action prompted one social media user to call her a “political hack,” suggesting she “belongs on ‘The View’ not the SCOTUS.”

That the 81-year-old justice’s remarks were received favorably by the LGBT community is of no surprise, after all, she officiated at a same-sex wedding last year in Washington.

But there’s one small problem.

As Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume pointed out on Twitter, the Supreme Court is set to rule on same-sex marriage early this summer!

Hume took note of the “amazing impropriety” of Ginsburg’s actions.
