Pro-Palestinian UC Davis students caught shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ at Israel supporters

Pro-Palestinian students at the liberal, tolerant University of California, Davis shouted down pro-Israel students with shouts of “Allahu Akbar” before a Jewish fraternity house was spray-painted with Nazi swastikas last week.

“College campuses have become caricatures of themselves,” observed conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham to Fox News host Megyn Kelly. “The inmates are running the asylum.”

The shouts, associated with Islamic terror attacks, came when Israel supporters objected to a resolution to boycott Israel introduced at the university’s student government association Thursday.

Even though the resolution was approved, the swastikas appeared on the Jewish organization’s frat house. Sore winners?

Apart from acts of terrorism, Allahu Akbar — or “God is great” in Arabic — has come to represent “the subjugation of women [and] the torture of homosexuals, Ingraham observed, as well as “the crucifixion of Christians.”

“Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.” William F. Buckley, Jr.
