‘Tax cheat’ Charlie Rangel bombs with Super Bowl tweet; the guy spins like a girl!

U.S. Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., opened his mouth and stuck his foot in it during the Super Bowl Sunday, when he brought up a subject he’s been haranguing about months on end — equal pay for women.

He tweeted that if you liked the “Like a Girl” Super Bowl commercial released by Always, a company that manufactures feminine hygiene products, you should also support equal pay for women. Here’s the tweet:

And here’s the ad itself:

Rangel got hammered on that one, and rightfully so:

Actually, equal pay for women has been the law since the civil rights legislation that was enacted during the 1960s. In addition, early into President Obama’s first term in office, he signed the Lilly Ledbetter Act into law to give equal pay provisions added teeth.

But Democrats, especially Rangel and Obama, continue to promote their phony war on women by claiming that women earn 77 cents on every dollar earned by their male counterparts.

That claim earned two Pinocchios from The Washington Post.

Sorry Charlie. Go back to your Caribbean villa and sleep it off.
