‘Bias? … What bias?’: Reporter says she ‘will cry’ when Obama leaves office

So much for unbiased reporting.

April Ryan, the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, said in an interview with the Washington Examiner, “I will probably cry when he leaves” in reference to the end of Obama’s term.

Ryan also claimed the Obama White House avoided the issue of race in his first term because it “did not want to amplify race because they knew that they were going to rile up certain segments of society, particularly the tea party and people who don’t care for him much.”

Oh, those dastardly racist tea partiers.

Of course, it is not at all racist that this black reporter is going to cry when Obama leaves office. (Chris Matthews and the crew are going to be utterly bereft, after all.)

Responses to the quote were plentiful after Matt Drudge blasted it into the Twittersphere.
