With the left in America having all but called for a jihad against “American Sniper” Chris Kyle, there have been no shortage of yahoos taking cheap shots at the former Navy SEAL.
To include an NBC reporter — naturally.
NBC foreign affairs reporter Ayman Mohyeldin characterized “the real Chris Kyle” as having “racist tendencies toward Iraqis and Muslims” during an appearance Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” saying the man that many Americans see as a hero “went on killing sprees in Iraq.”
But then, what do you expect from a former Al Jazeera reporter?
“A lot of stories about when he was back home in Texas,” Mohyeldin said. “A lot of his own personal opinions about what he was doing in Iraq, how he viewed Iraqis, what some people described as his racist tendencies toward Iraqis and Muslims as he was going on some of these, you know, killing sprees in Iraq on assignment. I think there are issues.”
As might be expected, social media was quick to react to Mohyeldin’s despicable comments, with Media Research Center urging followers to call NBC and demand an apology.
Here are a few responses from some notable users, as seem on Twitter:

It seems the greater the film’s success, the harder the left tries to discredit Chris Kyle. Having put so much effort into establishing that the U.S. effort in Iraq was an immoral war, they’re not willing to sit idly by as the film unravels their fabricated narrative.
Right on cue, enter left-wing moonbat Jesse Ventura.
Not content with taking $1.8 million from a widow and her two small children, and secure in the knowledge that there is zero chance he will ever have to face his target, Ventura ripped Kyle, saying he couldn’t be a hero because he’s “a liar.”
“A hero must be honorable, must have honor,” the 9/11 Truther told The Associated Press. “And you can’t have honor if you’re a liar. There is no honor in lying.”
He also took a cheap shot at the film based on Kyle’s life, saying “it’s as authentic as Dirty Harry.”
