A small drone aircraft was flown over the White House grounds and recovered early Monday morning by the Secret Service.
According to the Associated Press, the Secret Service has established an additional security perimeter around the White House to restrict access to the grounds.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest, traveling with President Obama to India, told reporters there that the “device” did not threaten anyone in the building.
If it wasn’t a direct threat, news of the drone caused a big stir among the media.
