Powerful emotional content makes veteran dog ad best commercial of 2014 winner

A commercial showing the reality of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder has earned a well-deserved award.

Royal Dutch Guide Dog Foundation trains service dogs for soldiers living with PTSD. The organization created a compelling video that won a “best commercial for 2014” award.

The video shows a soldier’s nightmare re-living a war zone scene as his service dog comforts him.

“Because we not only help people who cannot see, but also those who have seen too much,” the narrator says.

The commercial packed a powerful punch of emotion into 35 seconds!

Since its original posting in 2010, it has over 4 million views on YouTube.
