White House spokesman Josh Earnest struggled Monday to explain the appalling decision for top U.S. officials to skip Sunday’s gathering of world leaders in Paris — but he at least said it was the wrong thing to do.
Under heavy questioning by reporters, Earnest first said he didn’t know what President Obama was doing Sunday, then admitted Obama was home, then denied it was Obama’s decision not to go to Paris.
So, whose decision is it for President Obama to go anywhere anyway? Valerie Jarrett’s?
