You know Obama made a major league error when liberal stalwart Rosie O’Donnell calls him out.
On ABC’s “The View” Monday O’Donnell skewered the administration for not sending the president, or at least a high profile figure, to the unity march in Paris Sunday.
“World leaders united and marched yesterday to show support after last week’s terrorist attack,” she said. “It was like ‘We Are The World’ and we didn’t show up.”
Co-Panelist, and former Communications Director for President George W. Bush, Nicolle Wallace who is supposed to be the voice of conservatism on the show defended the administration.
“I don’t think we should say anything bad about our own country or our own leader, because he wasn’t there, because I’m sure there were reasons. No leader didn’t want to be there.” she said.
“People need to understand that when the American president goes somewhere, thousands of people go with him.” Wallace continued. ”I’m guessing that the White House decided that it would have taken away from this event.”
O’Donnell wasn’t buying it.
“Couldn’t Joe Biden have been there and wasn’t Eric Holder in Paris?” she retorted.
Wallace’s statements should come as no surprise as Wallace has done a poor job in replacing Elisabeth Hasselbeck as the show’s token Republican.
On an Oct. 2014 episode of the syndicated talk show “Wendy” she described herself as a “big fan” of Hillary Clinton.
