A community college education appears to be a bigger issue to President Obama than radical Islamic terrorism.
As 50 world leaders gather in Paris to march against Muslim terrorism, one person is notably absent: The de facto leader of the free world.
Among those in attendance were French President François Hollande, British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Queen Rania and even Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Although the president had no appearances on his Sunday schedule, he decided not to attend the march.
Instead, while the president sits at home preparing to push for free community college education as his latest socialist agenda issue, he sent Attorney General Eric Holder to Paris in his place.
Unfortunately Holder couldn’t be bothered to attend the rally either.
This is same Eric Holder who famously couldn’t bring himself to say the words, “Islamic terrorism,” during his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on May 13, 2010.
And it’s the same Eric Holder who spoke on CBS’ “Face The Nation” Sunday and responded with similar cowardice when host Bob Schieffer’s question asked him if the United States is doing enough to prevent attacks similar to those that occurred at the Charlie Hebdo office in Paris.
“I think that we are doing certainly, I think, a good job in monitoring those people. When I say monitoring I mean monitoring in an appropriate way using legitimate tools,” he said. “We are not stereotyping anybody.”
Thank goodness.
Plenty of Twitter users noticed the president’s absence and lambasted him for it, including these tweeters:
No Obama in Paris. I wonder if it has anything to do with this. pic.twitter.com/cQS7hrWOIq

Somebody tell Obama it was the Republicans that attacked France and he would have attended the rally in Paris.

Sad that 50 world leaders could show solidarity in Paris but President Obama refused to participate. The cowardice continues.

Why did Obama send Holder to Paris? Sharpton was busy! @JudgeJeanine #TheFive @greta #Hannity #CashinIn #KellyFile @ANHQDC

It was so moving to read that President Obama will join President Netanyahu in Paris to express solidarity with France. Oh, wait…
