Hollywood actor James Woods made little effort to hide his indignation over a CNN correspondent who used the term “activists” to describe the Islamist terrorists who slaughtered 12 people at the offices of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
Active again on social media, Woods took to Twitter Friday to ask the obvious: “So the police who finally killed these scum would be…’reactionaries?'”
His tweet as seen on Twitter:
CNN actually described the Paris jihadist murderers as “activists.” So the police who finally killed these scum would be…”reactionaries?”

The outspoken conservative actor’s comment prompted a spirited response from social media users in agreement, including former talk radio host Neal Boortz, who harkened back to the Ted Turner days.

Really? @cnn refered to the Muzzie Murders as “activists?” There’s still that much Ted Turner poison in the system? @RealJamesWoods

@RealJamesWoods Sure, that works. But I prefer to think of them as humanitarians. — LunaticRex (@LunaticRex) January 10, 2015

Always willing to do his part, Woods took the time to share with the world who the correspondent was that choose to refer to the murderers as activists. Of course, if you even remotely follow CNN, the guilty party should come as no surprise:
It was actually the completely unbiased one who called the Paris jihadist murderers “activists.” Guesses? OK, hint… pic.twitter.com/Y3Koi2xUD4 — James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) January 10, 2015
@RealJamesWoods Terrorists are activists in the same sense @camanpour is a respectable journalist. — Charlie Hebdo (@AnthonyBialy) January 10, 2015
