A video capturing a husband’s reaction to a surprise baby announcement has been melting hearts all across the country.
Viewed nearly 2 million times, the video was recorded on a smartphone by Jessica Devins, as identified on her YouTube profile, while she and her husband sat in a pizza shop photobooth.
She noted in the description of the video that they love photobooths, a tradition that goes back to their first date.
As the couple prepared to take the first of a series of photos, Devins secretly raised a small hat with the word “Baby” emblazoned on the front.
It took the lucky guy a few seconds to figure out what’s going on, but as it settled in, the emotions began to flow.
“To see how many people like our video is just heart warming!!” Devind writes in the comment section. “We posted it hoping that it would inspire someone else someday.”
As for an inspiration, what a gift the video will be one day when the child looks back on it and sees the love that ushered them into the world.
