Shocking video, photos as gunmen attack Paris newspaper in the name of Allah

Radical Islam has reared it’s ugly head yet again.

Masked gunmen stormed the offices of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine in Paris, and opened fire killing at least 12, the BBC reported.

According to witnesses the terrorists shouted “we have avenged the Prophet Muhammed!”

The magazine was firebombed in 2011 after it published an unflattering cartoon of the prophet Muhammad.

The most recent tweet on the magazine’s official Twitter page was a cartoon mocking ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, according to the BBC.

On video of the event, the attackers can be heard yelling “Allahu Akbar” during the shooting leaving little doubt as to their motivation.

“This is an act of exceptional barbarism,” French President Francois Hollande said. “Against a newspaper. A newspaper needs free speech. Against journalists who have always endeavored to show that in France they can operate to defend their ideas.”

New video released by Fox News apparently shows two gunmen entering a getaway car after the assault.

Fox News military analyst Tom McInerney weighed in Wednesday on “Fox & Friends” and said that America needs to be prepared for similar attacks.

“This is a classical radical Islamic attack … and political correctness is killing us. This is a prime example. Until we hold the Arab world and the Muslim world accountable for letting this radical Islamic ideology, which as I’ve said before is as evil as Nazism, Fascism and Communism, it is not a religion,” he said. “The West, the entire world, must hold Islam and the Muslims accountable.”

Host Steve Doocy pointed out that French police rarely carry guns, which is not the case in New York.

“Thankfully, but with the current leadership in New York, and I’m referring to the mayor, the communist mayor you have up there, that may change,” McInerney said. “I think that the world better wake up, we’ve been doing this for over 13 plus years after 9/11 and it’s time that people remove the political correctness and hold the people accountable with global public opinion.”

World leaders, including President Obama, have weighed in on the attacks as well.

“I strongly condemn the horrific shooting at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris that has reportedly killed 12 people. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France at this difficult time.

“France is America’s oldest ally, and has stood shoulder to shoulder with the United States in the fight against terrorists who threaten our shared security and the world. Time and again, the French people have stood up for the universal values that generations of our people have defended.

“France, and the great city of Paris where this outrageous attack took place, offer the world a timeless example that will endure well beyond the hateful vision of these killers.”

“Our thoughts are with our allies over there in France right now,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said. “I can tell you that we have worked closely with the French in efforts to degrade ISIL.”

“This abominable act is not only an attack on the lives of French citizens and their security,” German Chancellor Angela Merkel said.

“Moscow resolutely condemns terrorism in all its forms,” Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS news agency. “President Putin due to the tragic event in Paris, expresses his deep condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the dead and also to the people of Paris and all the French.”
