Since just before Christmas, conservative Twitter feeds have been filled with the screen shot of a Twitter posting by Alison Sports calling for the shooting of police officers.
The tweet, “Save a black life: shoot as many cops in the face as you can” was posted on Dec. 23 at 2:05 a.m.
While @AlisonSports did tweet a lot about sports, it also had a fair amount of anti-cop rhetoric, but none as bad as the tweet from Dec. 23.
Hundreds if not thousands of conservatives from all over the country tweeted the screen shot of the tweet and demanded that Twitter shut down the account.
The Alison sports account was deleted by Twitter this morning.
