A New York teacher is suing the city and his school district for discriminating against him based on the color of his skin.
Paugh William Shadow, 42, claims he was a victim of prejudiced treatment for being a white man at the mostly black and Latino school, MS 391 in the Bronx, the New York Post reported.
According to his complaint, Shadow said he was accused of false charges such as leaving his post and using corporal punishment, including forcing his sixth-grade students to walk up and down the stairs for five minutes for misbehaving.
He also charges that the school refused to repay him for equipment he purchased with his own funds for the science lab.
Shadow claims he was humiliated in front of his colleagues and that officials discriminated against him based on the fact that he was a white male.

Besides being a teacher, Shadow has also tried his hand at acting.
According to his IMDB (Internet Movie Database) profile he has appeared in “The Good Wife,” “Gotham,” “Elementary” and even as a voice character in the popular video game “Grand Theft Auto IV.”

Shadow also has a Facebook page on which he has declared his intention to run for president of the United States
