A soldier, returning from Afghanistan, teamed up with his brother to surprise the rest of the family with a holiday visit.
Patrick Conway‘s brother Mather invited everyone to a gender unveiling party where the family gathered to see if Mather’s new baby was going to be a boy or a girl.
They all expected to see a blue or pink balloon emerge from a gift-wrapped box the brothers had set up, but instead, a green balloon floated out to everyone’s bewilderment.
Seconds later Patrick jumped out of the box.
His mother screamed with jubilation as she ran to embrace her son.
“I’m so glad to see you,” she exclaimed as they hugged.
No word yet as to what gender the baby is but it’s still a gender unveiling they will never forget.
