Every once in a while, a video comes out that really shows a celebrity’s human side. This is one of them.
The venerable British-born actor Patrick Stewart, 74, is best known for the roles he’s played as a strong leader, like Professor Xavier in the “X-Men” and Captain Picard in “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”
So the video, “Sweet Hat Bro” — showing Stewart, standing stalwart against a blank wall while being subjected to the indignity of wearing an elf hat that plays music, lights up and moves – is unlike anything we’ve ever seen him do.
It is absolutely hilarious. You can hear his wife, Sunny Ozell, laugh in the background, and by the end, Stewart laughed, too.
You gotta love this guy.
