10-year-old educates her school board on Common Core ‘nonsense’: ‘It stinks’

Children have a way of simplifying things, and a 10-year-old New Jersey girl summed up why she doesn’t like Common Core in three succinct words.

“Because it stinks.”

Elizabeth Blaine, a fourth-grader from Montclair, N.J., spoke at a school board meeting on Monday about “the Common Core test known as PARCC,” as described by the Washington Post, and in addition to her concise analogy above, said schools should be able to opt out of this “nonsense.”
