Who is the most annoying person Americans invite into their homes?
Ranker.com, a website that exists solely to rank topics ranging from everyday concerns to things most people might never have thought of (“The 50 Greatest Bangs in movie history,” for instance) has the answer.
Cable network HLN’s Nancy Grace, the true-crime queen, was the winner (loser) from among 113 TV personalities chosen by more than 140,000 voters, according to Ranker.com’s polling.
Grace – possibly aided by the appearance of a character clearly based on her TV personality in the hit movie “Gone Girl” – was the clear winner, followed by MSNBC’s Al Sharpton in second place and former CNN gun-grabber Piers Morgan in third. (To be fair, Morgan might have won it all had he not been so annoying CNN had to take him off the air earlier this year.)
Rounding out the Top 10 were billionaire Donald Trump, “Dr.” Phil McGraw, Oprah, Geraldo, Rosie O’Donnell, Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly. (The libs check in, after all.)
Believe it or not, Chris Matthews only got to 14th place in 2014.
He has something to shoot for in 2015.
