While the rest of the world was concerned about the well being of the hostages at the Lindt Cafe in Sydney, Australia, some heartless individuals posed for selfies at the scene.
Some made sure to get television cameras in the shot with them while others smiled happily.
As the individuals posted their pictures to Twitter and Instagram they were met with fierce backlash.
