Jaguar kills crocodile like a boss!

The jaguar diet consists of more than 85 species – but who knew they ate crocodiles?

National Geographic did, and after some of its photos of a jaguar killing a croc went viral, the famed magazine decided to release the video.

Luke Dollar, a conservation scientist, narrates the clip from 2013 and makes the incredible video even more incredible. Who doesn’t want to see a jaguar get all the fight out of a crocodile in less than five seconds? Dollar says it’s because the jaguar got his teeth into the crocodile’s brain case or disconnected the central nervous system.

And at the end, the jaguar, that made such easy work of that enormous crocodile, carried it off like my cat carts around a mouse he’s just killed.
