New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio tried his best to blow off Fox News producer Jesse Watters, the man-on-the-street reporter for “The O’Reilly Factor.”
Then he just had him removed.
At a news conference Thursday, Watters tried to embarrass the politician (they don’t embarrass easily) and was escorted out for his trouble.
Fred Filner posted the exchange on YouTube.
Watters accused deBlasio of being disrespectful to the show’s staffers who were trying to schedule the mayor for an appearance on the show.
The mayor’s office responded publicly to the accusation, calling it a “stunt” in a tweet that revealed an email correspondence between the two parties.
Total stunt. We’ve been kind enough to decline their intvw requests via phone AND email.
