Radio host’s one-man protest mocks absurdity of ‘die-in’ demonstrations

An Alabama talk radio host has had his fill of the protests and “die-ins” being orchestrated by America’s grievance industry, and with the special treatment these protesters have been getting.

“There is a right way to protest and a wrong way to protest,” said WVNN’s Dale Jackson, according to Yellowhammer News. “Laying down in the middle of the road is the wrong way and shame on the politicians who are afraid to stand up and tell them ‘no.’”

Around the country, protesters are lying down and blocking traffic to draw attention to a message of police brutality and racial injustice. Never mind that there’s no evidence the recent deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner were racially motivated.

After a recent protest at a local college, Jackson decided to hold his own one-man protest on Monday to highlight how ridiculous it is that special rules are being carved out for these folks, Yellowhammer News reported.

“This bothered me for many reasons, mostly because when the tea party was active in 2009 and 2010 they were asked to obtain permits for everything they did and told not to block traffic,” Jackson said. “This was not asked of this group. “The cops barricaded the road for these folks and let them close down traffic.”

Watch as Jackson cries out for the last vestiges of sanity left in America:

He urged his listeners not to join him, because he didn’t really want to disrupt the lives of Huntsville residents. Besides, he never expected police to allow him to do go forward with his protest.

But they did.

So Jackson proceeded, complete with a seven unit police escort as he marched holding a sign that said, “Police Lives Matter! The Truth Matters!” He also held a two minute “die-in” to block rush hour traffic.

If his goal was to illustrate how ridiculous it is that weak kneed politicians allow protesters to block traffic and otherwise disrupt communities, the imagery of his one man die-in alone accomplished this goal.
