Steven Brundage got lucky when he was pulled over by a cop going 42 in a 30 mph zone.
He told the officer that he was coming from a party in New York City, according to his own description of the YouTube video. When the cop asked him why he had playing cards in his car, Brundage told him he was a magician. Brundage said the officer asked him to perform an example of a magic trick.
It’s not clear who filmed the video of the cool trick, but according to Brundage, the cop was so impressed that he let him off the hook.
Not a bad trick at all, but knowing how to turn traffic stops into self-promotion is pretty good, too.
