Watch conservative bloggers physically get kicked out of Sharpton news conference

After conservative bloggers were physically removed from Al Sharpton’s news conference for calling him an “agitator,” Sharpton tried to make sure it was clear that this disturbance didn’t come from his side.

“Let me say this, before you all distort it,” Sharpton said to the media after the disturbance that interrupted his midday speech.

“There was a so-called reporter, a blogger, saying some stuff about I came on to stir things up,” Sharpton said, then and outlined how news conference organizers had tried to give the blogger a chance to speak even though Sharpton’s people had been concerned about the blogger “castigating” him.

“So before you all act like there was a disturbance among the folk,” Sharpton said, “I just want you all, when you run the pictures — ‘disruption at the conference’ – it was one of y’all’s bloggers that caused the disruption.”

Sharpton said the blogger was removed, “so that our people would not overreact.”

“I’ve no problem with a guy not wanting to hear what I’ve got to say, but then why would you come to where I’m the one speaking? It just really don’t make sense. Who did you think was going to speak at my press conference? That’s just like all the folks that like me on Facebook just to cuss me out. That really don’t make a lot of sense.”
