Online talk from posters purporting to be police officers and their supporters in and around Fergsuon has been ominous.

Some are saying that the police force will be powerless to protect the citizens as the powder keg fuse burns down, reported the Daily Mail.

This comes on the heels of Gov. Jay Nixon declaring a state of emergency in anticipation of a grand jury’s decision on whether to indict Ferguson Police Office Darren Wilson in the fatal Aug. 9 shooting of Michael Brown.

‘If you do not have a gun, get one and get one soon. We will not be able to protect you or your family,” wrote someone with the handle “A Concerned Cop” on the St. Louis Cop Talk forum. “It will be your responsibility to protect them. Our gutless commanders and politicians have neutered us. I’m serious, get a gun, get more than one, and keep one with you at all times.”

“We can’t even hit our sticks on the ground,” wrote another alleged cop.

Some users of the forum have declared the protesters are “terrorists,” according to vocativ.com.

Several users on the forums said they believe whatever the decision of the grand jury is, they expect violent clashes with protesters.

The St. Louis Cop Talk forum has since been removed from boardhost.com.
