Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch has been around long enough to hear liberals make their case countless ways, so they’re not fooling him this time around either.
The 80-year-old senator, who’s been in the upper chamber since 1977, made no bones about the latest buzzword favored by today’s crop of libs during a speech Friday to the Federalist Society.
Discussing the midterm election results, he said American voters had given a “decisive blow” to President Obama and his “progressive agenda.”
That got a round of applause, but Hatch’s next line was the killer.
“I get a big kick out of them using the word ‘progressive,’” he said. “My gosh, they’re just straight old dumbass liberals anyway.”
If you think the Federalist Society doesn’t sound much like a comedy club, check out this video.
