After six weeks of motherhood, look who’s calling Chelsea Clinton ‘Mom of the Year’

The media love affair with the Clintons continued when Katie Couric interviewed former first-daughter Chelsea Clinton this week for Yahoo News.

Being the respected journalist she is Couric asked the tough questions like “To have parents who are so accomplished, I’m wondering, was it difficult for you, Chelsea, harder, perhaps to find your own way, to make your own mark, when you have parents that are celebrated or as well known as yours are?”

The former first daughter responded by saying that in her twenties she rebelled against her parents by working in the private sector. She didn’t mentioned that part of her rebellion included being paid obscene amounts of money for that work.

Couric then went on to say how honored Chelsea must feel for being nominated as one of Glamour Magazine’s “Woman of the Year” candidates. “and I think it’s safe to say, probably a ‘Mom of the Year.’” the anchor added.

Yes Mom of the Year. Chelsea has been a Mom for six weeks and according to Katie Couric she is in the running for Mom of the Year.

If this is the kind of in depth, hard hitting examination of the Clinton’s the media is planning for the 2016 presidential campaign it ought to be smooth sailing for the Clinton clan.
