Many would say a woman got what was coming to her on an undated video posted to YouTube on Saturday.
The video starts with the woman berating a man on the New York City Subway’s F Train. First, she made fun of his clothing and the way he talked — all for no apparent reason.
A man videotaping the incident said something to her in defense of the man that agitated her enough to attack the cameraman, slapping his camera to the floor while being egged on by her friends. After he grabbed his camera and began recording again, she took a second swipe.
The angry woman then swung a pair of sneakers at her original target, who responded by slapping her and knocking her back several feet.
An unidentified man jumped to her defense, hitting the original harassment victim and setting off a melee on the train until some Good Samaritans finally separated everyone.
The video has over 600,000 hits on YouTube.
Though no one is condoning violence, it is a lesson that, man or woman, you should keep your hands to yourself.
