Michael Brown’s mother to address UN in Geneva on police brutality – are you kidding me?

The mother of 18-year-old Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager shot to death by a police officer during an altercation in Ferguson, Mo., is going to Geneva, Switzerland to address the United Nations on police brutality.

Never mind that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and it has yet to be determined that Officer Darren Wilson is guilty of any such brutality.

In fact, according to The Washington Post, Justice Department investigators “have all but concluded they do not have a strong enough case to bring civil rights charges against Darren Wilson.”

Nevertheless, Lesley McSpadden will be in Switzerland next month to talk about her son and other victims of police brutality, according to Vice News.

McSpadden was in the news last week when she was involved in a physical altercation with other family members, including Brown’s grandmother, who were selling swag bearing his name from a parking lot.

“You can`t sell this shit,” McSpadden yelled, according to one eyewitness.

Police were called and a cousin was taken to the hospital, but there were no arrests.

The overseas trip, on Nov. 12 and 13, is being promoted under the tagline “Ferguson to Geneva,” and McSpadden will be joined by “one of the family’s lawyers and a handful of local activists and human rights advocates,” Vice reported.

The organizers have been raising funds to sponsor the trip, and are still short $11,000.

“It’s about taking the conversation to the global community in general,” organizer Charles Wade said of the trip. “It’s for us to show that now even the UN is interested in what’s happening in a real small city called Ferguson, and you should be interested as well.”

Vice News said there’s a more practical purpose to the delegation as well — to get the world’s eyes back on Ferguson. Of course, with a flurry of recent videos showing protesters harassing and verbally assaulting police, they may want to be careful about what they wish for.

It’s unusual when a liberal advocates for 2nd Amendment rights, but Justin Hansford did.

I wonder if the “Ferguson Delegation” will share THAT tidbit with the folks at the UN?

“It’s actually covered by article one of the convention against torture,” Justin Hansford, a law professor at Saint Louis University and co-author of a brief to the UN body filed by Brown’s family and local activists, told VICE News.

“When the government has all the guns, all the force, and when they can kill people with impunity and without fear of being found guilty of a crime, that’s a classic example of state violence.”

The “#####” is the mother of a thug, from a family if thugs!

The UN has Zero authority in the USA. Barry, jessy, and Al want UN control, I for one will never see it happen. I just fear for kids that might grow up without the USA.

  3. D.L. says:

I know why she has to go overseas to speak. No one in the U.S. has any respect for her.

  4. D.L. says:

Amazing they just want to make money off Mike Brown. What’s the matter, the government hasn’t handed over millions to reward their thug behavior?

  5. D.L. says:

Who is paying for this travel?

  6. delmar blowhole says:

Maybe Barry will let them use airforce one for there trip.

  7. tomkat1111 says:

Maybe she will talk about how to attack and rob your mother-in-law.

  8. McKinley Mitchell says:

When are nygrows going to take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming Whitey for everything?

    1. datroofhomez says:

About the same time liberals stop doing the same thing. Neither group believes in personal responsibility, & both groups believe in deadbeats being supported with our tax dollars.
