Liberal hero and crass comedian Chelsea Handler was trying to prove a point when she posted a topless picture of herself on horseback mocking Vladimir Putin.
The former host of “Chelsea Lately” put the photo on Instagram to make a statement about nakedness equality, apparently.
Instagram immediately declared the picture inappropriate and removed it from its servers. No doubt Handler knew that is exactly what would happen as the same thing happened to Scout Willis when she posted her topless photo.
Based on her comments, it would appear that Handler is using this as a platform to launch a feminism campaign against Instagram, and society. Naturally Handler believes that women and men are the same despite the inherent genetic differences.
“If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?” Handler said in another Instagram post.
She posted the pic to Twitter with the caption “Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to show I have a better body than Putin.”
Handler added the pic back to Instagram and dared them to remove it.
“If instagram takes this down again, you’re saying Vladimir Putin Has more 1st amendment rights than me. Talk to your bosses,” she wrote.
Instagram again removed the photo.
