#MissNebraska was trending on Twitter Sunday night during the 2014 Miss America pageant, but not because she won the crown.Â
It was an unfortunate wide angle of the camera and an accidental Sharon Stone-like moment that created a buzz when Miss Nebraska Megan Swanson, in a short dress, opened her legs.Â
Host Chris Harrison was commenting on the evening wear part of the competition when he was “video bombed” by the beauty, who apparently missed the class on “how to sit like a lady.” Fortunately, she got the tip on wearing panties!
It’s not clear whether the judges caught a glimpse of the unladylike behavior, but the woman chosen to represent the U.S. in 2015, and who won the evening’s crown, was Miss New York, Kira Kazantsev. It was a third consecutive win for New York.
It may not have been the cover shot of Monday morning newspapers, but – you guessed it – Twitter users were handy to share the visual.
