TMZ Sports has the shocking video of the brutal punch thrown by football player Ray Rice knocking his fiance out cold in an Atlantic City casino elevator in February.
The NFL said in a statement Monday that it hadn’t seen the unreleased version of the footage from inside the elevator before slapping Rice on the wrist with a laughable 2-game suspension.
A league spokesperson tells us … “We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator. That video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.”
The #Ravens have terminated RB Ray Rice’s contract this afternoon.

In the footage, you see the Baltimore Ravens running back strike first. Fiance Janay Palmer hit him back before he delivered the final punch.
Rice’s attorney said, shortly after the assault “We’ll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you’ll have a better understanding of what happened and we ask the public to reserve making any judgment until all of the facts come out, according to TMZ”
It’s hard to spin a crushing blow to the face.
