A former Muslim calling himself “Brother Rasheed” says Islamic followers have been “brainwashed” to hate America and that President Obama has to get serious about tackling the threat Islamic State terrorists pose.
Although Rasheed’s credentials could not be verified, the man in the eight-minute video posted on The Right Scoop website has a seemingly strong command of the Quran.
Rasheed demands that Obama understand Islamic State’s power and accept that it speaks for Islamic radicals..
Islamic schools teach that Allah’s enemies are Jews and Christians in Israel and the West, admonished in sacred texts, prayers and Friday sermons as evil beings Muslims must hate, Rasheed said.
Mohammed’s lessons justify beheadings, mass killings, kidnapping young women and death to non-believers, he added.
Describing himself as the son of a Moroccan imam, Rasheed said he spent more than 20 years studying Islam before escaping his homeland and converting to Christianity. He raises numerous questions that a serious-minded American president should ponder — challenges too heavy for the golf course.
If Islam is not the problem, why is it that none of the millions of Christians in the Middle East has ever blown himself up in the name of martyrdom?
Why have so many Muslims in the West joined Islamic State if Islam is not a powerful influence?
Why have some new converts to Islam become terrorists?
How many Islamic outlets are using the Quran to preach violence against the West?
How many Islamic schools are producing generations of teachers and students to believe in jihad, martyrdom and the fight against infidels?
To answer such questions and heed the call to duty, Rasheed said in the video, Obama must abandon political correctness and multiculturalism, and fight terrorism at its root. That fight, he said, begins with understanding Islam’s intolerance.
