Watch: Jimmy Fallon’s moving tribute to Robin Williams

Jimmy Fallon took time on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to say a few words in remembrance of comedian Robin Williams.

With a lump in his throat and a tear in his eye, he attempted to describe — and imitate — the legendary funny man.

“He was funny…and he was fast…he would weave in and out of characters…And you’d watch him, and you would cry laughing and you would think ‘I’m never going to see anyone like this human. Ever,’” Fallon said. “He was always thinking 10 steps ahead. He was like the Mohammed Ali of comedy.”

Williams was a regular on the “Tonight Show,” and a clip of his first appearance was shown.

Fallon ended the tribute with one final send-off, stepping up on his desk to recite a classic Williams line from “Dead Poets Society.”

“Oh captain, my captain…you will be missed.”
