Ret. Lt. Col. Ralph Peters called San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi “dumb as a rock” while speaking on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” on Monday.
The former U.S. Army Intelligence officer was commenting on the Democratic House Minority Leader’s inane remark that “the Qataris have told me over and over again that Hamas is a humanitarian organization.”
Hannity asked his guest how she could not know that Hamas is a recognized terrorist group whose own charter calls for the obliteration of the State of Israel?
“No, she doesn’t know the basic facts,” he replied. “She’s dumb as a rock and makes no effort to educate herself.”
Mockingly he added, “And the Nazis were wonderful humanitarians. They ran great youth camps for blond-haired children. I mean, come on! At some pint you’ve got to recognize evil when evil is right in your face!”
Qatar, a tiny Arab emirate awash in wealth, serves as the chief financier for Hamas, a terrorist organization that rules Gaza with an iron grip and diverts 40 percent of its total budget to building tunnels and purchasing armaments.
Secretary of State John Kerry has been roundly criticized for extending to the rabidly anti-Semitic Qatari government a seat at the negotiating table, but what the mainstream media neglect to divulge, is that Qatar hosts the only U.S. military base on the planet which is free of charge, all costs borne by the Qatari ruler.
