Barack Obama whines over ‘the slow deterioration of Barack Obama’

Barack Obama’s deteriorating, according to Barack Obama.

At a Democratic fundraiser (where else?) Wednesday, President Obama told supporters their camera phones over the years have chronicled “the slow deterioration of Barack Obama.”

collagebarackobama0724“As I look back, I realize how many of you have pictures of me with no gray hair,” Obama told the California crowd, who’d shelled out between $10,000 and $32,400 for the privilege of a presidential whine. “You’re chronicling the slow deterioration of Barack Obama.”

Good thing someone is, since “the most transparent administration in history” decided to lock out the once-cozy press corps during the president’s fundraising sweep through the Golden State this week.

“We think these fundraisers ought to be open to at least some scrutiny, because the president’s participation in them is fundamentally public in nature,” said Christi Parsons, the new president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, told Politico.

The organization is considering filing a formal complaint with the White House over the issue.

So the country’s foreign policy is a global disaster, the domestic economy’s been in a stall since Obama was sworn in the first time, the president’s namesake health care law is on life support, and even the lapdog press is starting to snap the administration’s hand.

And the president thinks “deterioration” means gray hair?

Twitter were unmoved by the self-pity.
