Obama arrived in Texas Wednesday for a two-day fundraising jaunt on the heels of the Denver “frat party photo shoot” that had him in poses fist bumping gorillas and shooting pool.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry greeted the president with a handshake, although previous communications between the two men were tense due to Obama’s refusal to visit the border to see first-hand the illegal immigrant invasion.
Lawmakers from his own party called for Obama to make a stop at the border as a gesture of concern.
“I’m not interested in photo ops,” Obama said. “I’m interested in solving a problem.”
As you can imagine, Twitter lit up to answer the unbelievable whopper that would make Pinocchio blush. Here are just a few examples from Twitchy:
Heh. The President really said he wasn’t interested in photo ops? And there was no lightning or anything?

@jimmiebjr @Juanita_Estrada no lightning but lots of camera flashes. Go figure.
