The Waffle House showed American spirit Monday when it tweeted some smack-talk about Belgium before the big World Cup match scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
It was all in good fun, of course, but a good guess is that Belgian waffles took a hit in sales this morning.
A few other American breakfast icons joined the patriotic show of support.
