Texas police officers Ranell Roy and Ariel Ronell of the Rosenberg Police Department are guilty of having a little fun last week.
The two made a video, dubbed Hip Hop Cops, of themselves riding in their patrol car lip-syncing to Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse.” The light-hearted release swept over the social media world.
They posted the jam on the Rosenberg Police Department Facebook page on June 12. It’s been shared over 220K times and comments number over 50K.
“Ever wonder what goes on inside of a patrol car…?” the status reads. “Here is the inside scoop… See…we really are no different then anyone else.”
