‘Pretentious’ Gwyneth Paltrow compares mean online comments to ‘bloody dehumanizing’ war

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is at it again – speaking without thinking.

This time, Paltrow made remarks at the Code Conference tech gathering in California promoting her lifestyle brand “Goop,” when she compared mean comments aimed at her online to being in a real war.

“You come across [online comments] about yourself and about your friends, and it’s a very dehumanizing thing,” the actress said. “It’s almost like, how in war, you go through this bloody dehumanizing thing and then something is defined out of it.”


As to be expected, Twitter users responded with, well, mean comments:

Paltrow was under fire in March when she said that, as an actress, her role as a mom was harder than that of one with an office job.
