Outclassed amateur fighter needs a miracle to win; what happens next is rare

Once the bell rang, it didn’t take long to realize that an amateur fighter would need a miracle to prevail in a recent match and he got just that.

But the reason he did so was due to an awesome display of sportsmanship seldom seen in professional sports.

“We’re amateur fighters,” Pantangco told AXS TV. “We don’t get money… and I know that the only thing I’m going to finish the fight is him to go in the hospital or get hurt. I just feel terrible so I’m just going to give him the win.”
