Teacher caught on video manhandling kindergartner will make your blood boil

teacher-grabs-kindergartenerWhether it’s the act itself or the fact that she was not fired, the story of an Ohio teacher caught on camera last week manhandling a kindergartner is going to make your blood boil.

As a video surveillance camera rolls, six-year-old Ian Nelson is seen going into a restroom in a Hancock County school.

As he exited, his teacher was captured grabbing Ian, lifting him off the ground and placing his back against the wall. The bully teacher then grabbed him by his face, before snatching him up by his shirt, again lifting his feet completely off the floor.

A staff member at the school reported the incident and as can be expected, Ian’s parents are furious.

“I would consider what would happen to myself, if I were to do that to her,” Ian’s father Anthony Nelson told WTOL TV. “If I were to do that to her, I would go to jail.”

“He was in the other room and I watched it out in the kitchen and I just started crying,” his mother Autumn Nelson said. “I burst out in tears.”

What was the teacher’s penalty for assaulting the kindergartner? She was suspended for the last 10 days of the school year without pay, according to WTOL.

That’s not good enough for the parents, who want the teacher of 14 years fired. They are also looking into having criminal charges filed against her with police.
