The opening and dedication of the 9/11 Memorial Museum Thursday morning revealed more than ten thousand artifacts displayed at the site of the tragedy.
Of the many powerful moments, the singing of “Amazing Grace” by a woman who was made a widow that day, stood out. The Fox coverage of the song was posted on World News 2014 ‘s You Tube page with the following:
LaChanze, a Tony Award-winning Broadway performer whose husband Calvin Joseph Gooding was killed in the September 11, 2001 attacks, sang an a cappella version of “Amazing Grace” during Thursday morning’s dedication of the 9/11 Museum in New York City. There are no bad versions of “Amazing Grace,” but some are more stunning than others.
