Representative Joe Garcia, a Democrat congressman from Florida, was caught by C-SPAN cameras last week digging his finger in his ear and apparently eating the contents.
He was at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on government surveillance, according to the Daily Mail.
It’s not exactly breaking news but when you’re caught on camera doing something that gross, well . . .
Garcia took to Twitter to explain the “misconception”:
