Outrageous video: Injured Navy SEAL berated on his own porch as he lowers American flag

A Navy SEAL veteran has released shocking video surveillance of a neighbor berating him while taking down his flag on his own porch.

David Hall of Virginia Beach served for 21 years, suffering a severe leg injury in Iraq in 2004. Since a homeowners’ association dispute a few years ago, Hall says the neighbor harasses him relentlessly.

Hall posted the video to YouTube to shed light on the way veterans are treated, adding that if the neighbor treats others the same way, it should be made public.

The neighbor says Hall is the bully, and posted his own response, but the Halls are now planning to sell their home.

The neighbor is a typical liberal in Florida. Remember 2000 election when over 2500 felons voted and countless illegals,,,They have been in the sun too long, or the NY state of mind from the Snow birds from said state, have taken over…sad, just sad. Come the Texas my friend, we need more people like you.

Shame on that man! What a terrible way to treat a vet. Would love to see some biker vets show up and ride by this bully’s house with flags flying. Maybe even park for a bit….

  4. Sniper's Freedom says:

Good thing we are not losing our country!

  5. Cris Bessette says:

This is so misleading. I actually watched the video.
    1. The disagreement had NOTHING to do with the American Flag. (That just happened to be what he was doing when drunk neighbor spotted him)
    2. The veteran admits that he and his neighbor have been arguing for years over a home owner’s group issue. (not his service in the military)
    3. The neighbor was drunk and making fun of this guy, not specifically about him being a veteran. (IE this has nothing to do with “how veterans are treated” it is how HE is treated by his A-hole neighbor.)

IN short, this is a regular every day neighborhood quarrel that was twisted to turn it into a fake controversy.

    1. Mr. Bizy says:

Did the neighbor berate the vet or not? yes or no?…

      1. Cris Bessette says:

There was an argument between neighbors how is that “news”? Every neighborhood I’ve ever lived in had disagreements between neighbors. sheesh.

Since federal housing laws prevent you from denying to sell your home to a specific individual. I think Mr. Hall should suggest to his real estate agent to promote the sale of his property to some less than desirable folks.

  7. Mike Harris says:

Post Name and address of the neighbor please.

  8. Jim S. says:

You do realize the neighbors giving this brother trouble are Your Own Folks, demanding he and his family do as they want him to and not what his choices, while not disruptive to them, are!!!!

You All gotta stop using us Veterans as your political fodder trying to
look like you care one bit about any of us, including those within your
ideology! But you won’t, it’s way too easy just like them waving flags,
lapel flag pins, freedom fries, you name it, while Not Demanding You
Actually Sacrifice! These wars, costs all rubber stamped on the credit
card, thus with huge interest cost and off the books till executive
administrations changed have yet to be paid for. But especially, no
honor to the fallen because you’re not honoring your oath to the very
few who serve you, not fully funding your responsibility the Veterans
Administration while using empty words, hollow symbols, patriotic meme’s
instead. You could care less, continuing to ignore the issues of those
that return, think PTS till these wars and still not paying for the full
care of or Agent Orange or in Desert Storm Gulf War Syndrome, just to
name a tiny few of the many. Nor the government employee’s working in
the agency and bringing their politics into, thus causing problems, with
no concern to who’s hurt by, so your talking heads and elected pols can
lay blame away from themselves and You!!!

The Country Served that ‘Talks the Talk’, way too much and with symbols, especially the so called conservatives and that includes the veterans within those ranks, but very rarely ‘Walks the Walk’ especially through their representatives, federal and states!!

“Mar 17th, 2014 – The Department of Veterans Affairs wants an extra $10 billion in its overall budget for fiscal 2015. That would supply the agency with more than $160 billion.”

TX-19 Congressional Candidate Neal Marchbanks – Veteran: 28 March 2014 – “Congress controls the budget for the VA and it is the fault of Congress that the VA does not have enough employees and that the facilities are too small.”
Congress, in Veteran Marchbanks statement, are the people served and who representatives work for, or are supposed to!

Why do Conservatives and much of the Country Attack the VA and it’s dedicated civil servant personal as well as the many needed volunteers!!

Freedom Isn’t Free, We Paid For It, American Veterans!!
Reality as to those of us who’ve served:

They, conservatives, don’t seek a smaller government, that’s never been their goal. They seek a privatized for corporate profit government, with no accountability, regulations, built into what would be corporate run agencies contracted by them, no bid or for campaign contributions, and paid with the peoples treasury. and much more expensive to run and maintain, And we’ve been seeing just what those private contracts have been giving back, think the NSA and the military contractors and the costs for, off the government treasury, they Never mention the private sector, with their huge amounts of corporate cash especially in the executive suites, in the hearings or public displays, that handles similar issues, like hospitals and clinics as they attack VA personal when issues arise. Nor do they try to help the, under funded and especially with our wars, VA in overcoming, the VA does that on their own mostly, and in these past some five years with the help of the Executive branch and it’s Cabinet, and with what is allotted to them through the representatives of the people served!!

      “”26 March 2014 – In U.S., hospital-acquired infections run rampant””
“”16 April 2014 – Children’s Hospital investigated five patient deaths from deadly fungal disease in 2009″”
“”Patient slapping at St. Joe’s symptom of persistent problem at U.S. hospitals: bad behavior by docs””

      “12 years also is a long time. We now have a lifetime responsibility to a generation of service members, veterans and their families.” Dr. Jonathan Woodson 11 Sep. 2013: ‘With 9/11 Came Lifetime Responsibility’ {two tax cuts, especially huge for the wealthy, with not a bit of guilt conscious for, came with these two recent unpaid for wars, nor the results of, DeJa-Vu all over again from the previous decades and wars from! Ignore the many issues, by those served, no need to fund!}

Sen. Bernie Sanders told Republicans: “If you can’t afford to take care of your veterans, than don’t go war. These people are bearing the brunt of what war is about, We have a moral obligation to support them.” February, 26th, 2014

“If military action is worth our troops’ blood, it should be worth our treasure, too” “not just in the abstract, but in the form of a specific ante by every American.” -Andrew Rosenthal 10 Feb. 2013

Where were the ‘offsets’ to federal spending as the rubber stamping, more then the off the books wars with no-bid contracts, was going on and claiming ‘patriotism’ for?

Obviously the “neighbor” is spineless, would never consider serving for his country or protecting others! Wonder if he will plead for forgiveness in the near future!
If you don’t want to serve your country it is one thing but berating someone who put his life on the line for the USA makes the neighbor a coward and some other words I can’t use here!
I lost high school friends in Viet Nam and I remember them and survivors AND the worthless pieces of $hit that harassed the returning military and I have no respect for those scumbags!
