The Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce has appointed a new president. The announcement was made in a press release Wednesday:
Dale R. Hedrick, President and Founder of Hedrick Brothers Construction Co., Inc., has been appointed to a two-year term as the President of the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hedrick and his company have been active members of the Chamber for more than 10 years, and since 1979 have been building, renovating and restoring many properties on Palm Beach such as the Palm Beach Par 3 Clubhouse, Palm Beach Town Hall, The Flagler Kenan Pavilion, the Bath & Tennis Club, more than 25 stores on Worth Avenue, financial institutions on “Bankers Row,” and more than 40 residences including a 65,000 square foot estate.
Dale’s dedication to leadership in the community is demonstrated by also serving as Member, Board of Directors, Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches; Member, Board of Trustees, BIZPAC; Executive Committee Member, University of Florida Rinker School of Construction Management EXCOM Council; active with the South Florida Science Center & Aquarium and the Gulf Stream Council Boy Scouts of America; Member, Past Board Member, Business Development Board of Palm Beach County; and Past Board Member and President of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Florida East Coast Chapter, and Past President of the State Council of the AGC. He has been honored with the 2010 South Florida Business Journal Palm Beach Ultimate CEO Award, the 2008 Sun Sentinel Excalibur Award for Small Business Person of the Year and the 2001 Palm Beach Atlantic University American Free Enterprise Companion Medal.
Dale R. Hedrick was born and raised in West Palm Beach. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Building and Construction from the M. E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction. Dale is a Member of the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach. He has been married to Cathleen Burk for 25 years and they reside in West Palm Beach with their three sons
